Ve59, RIT

I had my Visa Int. on 6th of June in Chennai consulate.
My Time slot is 4.15PM

I went to the consulate by 3.15 and I saw a huge crowd in front the consulate building. I joined the queue and I reached the entry counter by 3.35. The checking guy asked for my passport and my visa appointment letter, after checking that he let me in!

It was quite a heavy door to push. As I went in the security guards checked me and all my folders..and allowed me to go to the next section. There I saw many counters and went in one where few people were standing. I was asked to give my

1. HDFC receipts
2. I20 form
3. Sevis receipt
4. Visa Appointment letter
5. DS 156,157 & 158 forms
6. Passport

they lady in the counter took my finger prints and handed over all the doc's what I gave her in a folder. Then I was asked to proceed to next building

I went to the adjacent building by pushing a couple of heavy glass doors. Then i was taken aback to see anaconda queue! in a big hall. I was guided by the persons from VFS to join the queue.
The queue was very slow and it took more than an hour to reach the counter as only 4 counters were open at that time. And finally I reached a counter were one fair old lady was the visa officer and my int. was as follows...

Me: Good evening mam (with a wide smile!)
Vo: Good eve.. how are you doing?
      (Meanwhile i passed my folder.)
Me: Ya i'm fine. (again with smile!)

VO: on seeing my i20 she said 'Oooo RIT... Good...'
Me: smile...

VO: who is your sponsor?
Me: My Dad

VO: what is he doing?
Me: He's working in a bank.

Vo: Congrats you'll get your visa in a couple of days..
Me: Thank u so much (with smile!)
