hi one n all...

initially all thanks to i20 fever ppl for my visa thing.....

all thanks to frnds n crap.... now lets talk business...

my interview appointment was at 9:15. i reached the embessay by 7:30. after the initial check in`s, they allowed me in. Inside, there is another counter of security check in n all..

after that, i was led to the third enterence frm where i had to get into the visas room.

was in the room by 8:03. then there are two counters where we are required to check our ds forms for ny mistakes, if any. it was over by 8:27. and within the same room we are to sit. there are two visa counters. one handeled by a gent(smart looking) n other by a lady(sexy voice).

the gent VO was issuing visa to all and to my surprise, even the female was doing the same. but the male VO looked much cooler..

i was sitting there n praying to god that i go to maleVO.... its not like chennai here. the docs are given to the VOs n they call one by one. so its total luck to which VO one goes to....

well... as my turn got nearer, tension began building up.

i was fianlly called by the lady VO.....(bad luck, i thought).

i breathed in n then i wnt to her. she was a bit serious doing something. n here goes the conversation:

ME: GOOD MORNING MISS. (WITH A BIG SMILE)

VO: OHH!!!!! GOOD MORNING.

then looking through my documents....

she murmered to herself.. CALIFORNIS STATE UNIV....ok

VO: SO HOW MANY BROTHER N SISTER U HAVE

ME: I SISTER N SHE IS MARRIED N SETTELED(i stressed the point setteled)..

VO: FINE. SO WHAT DOES YOUR FATHER DO

ME: HE IS THE M.D. OF A RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL WHICH HAS CLASSES FROM 

       NERSERY TO XII.

VO: OK. SO CAN U SHOW ME SOMETHING OF HIS INCOME.... ANY BANK

       STATEMENT OR SOMETHING ELSE....

ME: (i showed the bank statement with liquid cash upto xxxx lacs)

VO: she studied the docs for few seconds n hen came the golden words.... FINE MAN.

       YOUR VISA IS APPROVED.

ME: THANKS MISS. N A VERY HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY.(my visa was on july 5th)

VO: OH!! THANKS A LOT....
