hi everybody

i am anjali from hyd.

i got my visa on july 7.(CHENNAI CONSULATE )

i wld like to share my experience wid u guys n gals

actually my visa appt was at 7:30am but got delayed bcause the

photograph i have taken was not a correct one

so the time i hv given my intrvw was 11:45 am n it hardly ended in

a min.

it was pretty cool.

VO:hello goomorning

ME:goodmorning sir n passed on the folder

VO:which univ.

ME:no ans(me dreaming)

(actually he was typing smthng in sys i tought he is busy wid

someother work n didnot pay much attention as till then he didnot

take my folder frm the tray n didnt start processing my file)

VO:which univ??

ME:Texas A&M COMMERCE

VO:COMMERCE

ME:yes sir

I got funding

VO:oh ----$funding

ME:yes sir with a broad smile [:D](i acted as if no other person got

funding frm my univ but it seems many got )

VO:no backlogs

ME:yes sir

VO:wat

ME:no backlogs sir

(he expected my profile to be very good)

VO:u might having a good GRE??????

ME:with a big sigh said my GRE score(as it was not really tat good)

VO:ur quant??

ME:650 sir

VO:wats ur DAD

ME:he is into family business..............

VO:wat business

ME:told abt it

VO:tell me abt ur dads savings

ME:abt 15lacs

VO:have u taken any loan

ME:yes sir as a stand by option.

VO:Ok MAM n passed the folder n kept my passport with him

ME:while passing my i20 itself came to knw i got my visa n i just

went dumb n didnt even hear to him properly n said THANK U SIR n

left the place

for a min i simply stared at him as i was expecting him to ask me a

few more questions but tat was all.

HE didnt even check a single doc nor even my graduation certificates.

actually he was impressed by seeing the funding n he himself decided

tat i didnt hv any backlogs n He was right.

he didnt even ask

why US?

why dis univ?

wats ur toefl?

SO frm my experience came to knw tat u need to have luck even.

Coming to me i stammered when answering to 1 oor 2 questions n

didnot pay attention to 1st Q itself.

bcause that day there were many rejections than approvals.

it was the same frm past 15 to 20days till then .

front of me VO rejected abt 5 members n even at the other counters

it was almost the same.
