VO:  Why US?

ME: Doing masters in a country like united states gives me a great opportunities in  my future when I come back to India.

VO: Why this university?

ME: I have got very good response from the college professors and even from senior students.                    and one of professors in my undergrad college suggested me for this univ.

VO: What will you do after MS

ME: I will definitely come back to India. Since I have a masters degree from the US University I will have better opportunities here. And last but not least, working with Infosys is my dream. (Interviewer smiled here and said ohh... Infosys).

VO: How many backlogs?

ME: 3 backlogs. 2 in my very first year. and 1 in 2nd year. Then she asked for my marks        memos.

VO: Who are your sponsors and how?

ME: My parents are sponsoring me. my mom is a govt employee and my dad is working in private company. and they are planning for my higher education since 5years and they could save 15laks for it. And lastly I got a loan of 12laks.

VO: Here I got one more question. How can they save 20 laks in just 5years?

ME:I said that they used to invest in small business before. Later for my education they started taking out the investments and saved for my higher studies. (I thought my visa will get rejected at this time) 

VO: Any siblings and what do they do?

ME: I have one Younger brother just completed his 12th and planning for his Undergrad.

VO: GRE, TOEFL scores.

ME: I gave my Gre & Toefl Score cards.

That’s it. She said that your visa is approved. You will get it in a week.

Advices for students who are planning for VISA:

Just be confident and just have a smile on your face. Don't prepare the answers and produce before them. Try to be spontaneous.
